Solar Area Lights
Solar area lights are designed to illuminate a large area with a wide beam angle, usually 120°. They are often used to light up outdoor areas for illumination and security.
Solar area lights are usually installed in parking lots, playgrounds, and yards. The lenses of LEDs help achieve a wide beam angle; they often adopt type III, type IV, and type V lenses, referring to light distribution types.
Enkonn’s engineering team usually uses Dialux to simulate the lighting distribution in a project, then helps clients choose the proper light distribution types and wattages for the project to enhance the project schedule efficiently.
Advantages of Solar Area Lights
For small projects with a large consecutive area that needs to be illuminated, applying 400 watts with a 12-meter solar pole is a good solution. However, large projects that require multiple lights could use smaller wattages, such as 50x 80 watts, to light the area evenly.
Our solar area lights use a high-efficacy LED 303SMD light source, which offers almost 220 lumens per watt. With a lifespan of 100,000 hours, it can work for you for more than 20 years with minimal mishaps.
These lights are also empowered by MPPT, which can help you make the most of solar energy to work continuously in the coming 5 rainy days.
